Statement earrings are all the rage this past Spring/Summer season. From tassels to fringe I keep seeing them pop up in fashion magazines and fashion blogs. They’re a great way to add a little extra flair to any outfit.

Something that I’ve noticed since Spring has started is that you may not always want to dress for the outside weather, but more for the inside weather…

If you’re in New York City this weekend (April 12-15) and you’re a beauty lover, then you MUST go to the Sunday Riley’s Pop Up located at 201 Mulberry Street! It is filled with fun photo ops, freebies, and a slide with a ball pit! Head below to check out my experience.

A while back I posted about a look featuring local clothing brand, Bronx Native. Since then they have been featured on local news, blogs, and even made it in The New York Times; both owners are in their early 20s and have accomplished so much.
I have been MIA the past couple weeks because I was planning my wonderful sister’s baby shower and getting ready for New York Comic Con. BUT I’M BACK and just in time for the first days of fall.
Finally I lived up to my social media name, Okarina of Time. The Legend of Zelda games have always been my favorite video games growing up. My friend Ben left all his Gameboy games behind his Freshman year when he went back Hawaii. Because of that I rediscovered a couple of the Legend of Zelda games like the Minish Cap. My second semester freshman year I would be at dinner with all my friends not engaging in conversations because I was too busy on my Gameboy.
The weather went from 60 degrees to 95 in the matter of a night. With the this weather, dresses and flowy light fabrics are the way to go.
Something you may or may not know about me is that I love Pokemon! When, I was little I only communicated in pikas with my mom. I still play Pokemon GO, YES I KNOW NOT A LOT OF PEOPLE PLAY ANYMORE. I have cosplayed as Pikachu and Ivysaur and now I decided to protect the world from devastation with this Team Rocket inspired outfit.
In case you haven’t noticed, I LOVE cats. I always include cats at the bottom of my posts for that exact reason.I have a shelf in my room dedicated to cat items (most of which were gifts from friends who know about my unhealthy obsession). I sometimes swear I’m part cat, but unfortunately I’m full human. Who knows, I may or may not become a cat lady in the future!
When picking out an outfit, I usually base it off an article of clothing or an accessory that must be part of it. However, this time was different – I chose my lipstick color first and everything evolved from there. Check out my bold outfit to match my bold lips.
