Last weekend I was supposed to go to Jazz Fest in Rhode Island, but couldn’t find a place to stay there. Instead my boyfriend and I headed to Philadelphia, PA.
Festival season has arrived, in case you haven’t seen the mannequins at stores decked out in flower crowns and fringe. I don’t really go to huge multiple day festivals because I honestly don’t have the extra cash for it. I only go to Vans Warped Tour and I remember going in high school and no one ever really wore “festival wear” to it since it was more of a punk show until recent years. Coachella fashion wear really blew up and the whole festival scene got bigger. Many clothing companies have commercialized on this. I have never worn “festival wear” to festivals, but I know a lot of people do. And because of that I will be posting two festival looks one in traditional, “let’s pretend we are back in 1969 going to Woodstock”, and the other festival attire that’s equally as cute but just a bit comfier and more practical. I’ll be doing the first look first in honor of Coachella starting today.
Some of you may know that the Pantone colors of the year are Rose Quartz and Serenity, and I am crazy about this color combo. Especially for the spring.
Recently, I had the pleasure of visting the High Line with my best friend. We thought it would be a good place to visit before our photo shoot/interview with the singer MAX for our webzine, Underdog Press. Head below for the details on my outfit!

It’s summer and we all know what that means…BEACH! Unfortunately, I live in New York and our ocean doesn’t get warm until like October, not really , more like the end of July/beginning of August. Although the ocean is cold and impossible to enjoy, my friends and I still make trips to the beaches in Long Island. Here’s an outfit idea for the beach, head below for more details. Two things I love are fashion and this Earth! I try to recycle as much as I can; it gets hard when you live in a residence building that doesn’t separate which bin is for what material. But other than separating your plastics from your cardboards there are other ways you can recycle. That is what founder and designer of Native Trashion, Lindsay Elizabeth, discovered one day. Head down below to read more! Continue reading “Fashion: My Talk With Native Trashion Designer”→
Nice weather has finally arrived here in New York. But, as New York is infamously known for the fact that one day it’s hot, the next its freezing, and yet the day after that it’s in between. So to my dismay I never know what to wear during those awkward days. The outfit above was created on one of those awkward days due to the question of whether or not to have a million layers. I settled on an outfit that allowed me to easily shed layers if necessary. Head Below for more details on this outfit.
Dress/Vest (Brandy Melville); White Crop Top (Garage Clothing); Roller Jeans (Garage Clothing); Tattoo Chocker (Brandy Melville); Boots (Steve Madden)
I found this denim dress for $10 at Brandy Melville, for one I freaked because something at Brandy was actually $10 (note: I love Brandy Melville’s clothes, I shop there all the time) and I also fell in love with it because I never really saw anything like it at other stores I was shopping at that day. It had that 90’s look to it and with 90’s on the mind all I could think is denim on denim upon denim. I took the 90’s idea and polished it up with a little bit of 2015.
