I’m a strong believer of cosplaying is for EVERYONE! Not everyone can sew or craft so here is one of my cosplays that has been COMPLETELY store bought/things I had in my closet already.
Summer isn’t over officially until September 22nd, but the fall weather is creeping up here in New York. I’m starting to plan out when to wear the summer dresses I haven’t had the chance to wear yet before it gets too chilly (once it hits 70 degrees I need to start wearing pants, I get cold easily).

Statement earrings are all the rage this past Spring/Summer season. From tassels to fringe I keep seeing them pop up in fashion magazines and fashion blogs. They’re a great way to add a little extra flair to any outfit.
For this 4th of July instead of doing a fashion look I decided to do a walkthrough of my Pinup Captain America. I wore this recently for Lights Camera Cosplay event put together by ScreamLinda.

Something that I’ve noticed since Spring has started is that you may not always want to dress for the outside weather, but more for the inside weather…
It is the end of the month and I just mailed out my first Rocksbox back to them. For those who have never heard of Rocksbox, it is a monthly jewelry subscription/rental box. They send you 3 jewelry pieces a month ranging in price from $25 – $230 for $21/month. If you decide to keep an item the $21 you pay for the subscription goes towards the piece(s) you keep. If you keep all three items, you get an additional $10 off. For a free month trial, you can use my coupon code ‘okarinaoftimexoxo‘. To read about my experience with this month’s subscriptions head below!

After a six hour flight to Guayaquil, Ecuador and a well deserved nap, my first stop on my Ecuador adventure was the Malecón 2000 and Las Peñas. Fun fact: I’m first generation Ecuadorian-American.
