I’ve worked both in an office where I wore heels everyday and an office where I can wear jeans and a sweatshirts everyday. Office fashion always depends on what industry and company you are in. I put together an outfit that can be easily made casual depending on your company’s culture and if you’re a recent college graduate with an entry level position and thousands of dollars in debt this outfit won’t break the bank.
My favorite piece in every work outfit are statement pants, whether subtle striped ones like these or more elaborate ones, they are a fun piece to add no matter your office culture. I have worn these in past looks on my blog and they are from Zaful ($12.21) and are one of my favorite pants I own.
When wearing patterned pants try sticking to solid tops. I’m wearing a mock neck from American Apparel, which was my favorite place to get basic before the stores closed, but now my favorite basics are from Uniqlo. To give it a more “professional” twist you can add a blazer. My favorite blazers are from H&M because they are affordable and have a great fit.
Always buy yourself good shoes that will last you a long time. I used to cheap out on shoes and would get blisters. My favorite all black kitten heel pointy shoes are my Manolo Blahnik‘s ($595). To make the outfit more casual you can use flats instead.
