The weather went from 60 degrees to 95 in the matter of a night. With the this weather, dresses and flowy light fabrics are the way to go.
Sorry for the lack of a post last week! My day job is being a publicist and the firm I work for did PR for two events (well three but I was only on two of the accounts) back to back. Naturally I had work all day and had no time to write a blog post, but the events turned out flawless.
During the time I was working at one point it was so cold out I had to wear a dress that was made out of sweater material and a turtleneck with tights and a medium weight jacket. By the time I had my last event, which was on Sunday, I was sweating in a light fabric sleeveless maxi dress. The change was so drastic I could not believe it.
The heat is no one’s friend, and best way to tolerate it is loose and light fabrics. This dress, though long sleeved, is very airy and is made of lightweight fabric (I’m actually reselling it on Vinted, check it out!). I love maxi dresses and dresses in general because they are so easy. You just throw them on, match the shoes and you are done.
With the sun at full force sometimes out need a little personal shade and that is where sun hats make an appearance and save the day. This one I got a couple years ago when I used to work at Forever 21 my Freshman year of college.
