It’s finally getting warm again in New York, which means I get to wear my favorite summer trend of all time, maxi skirts! Head below to get more information on this outfit.

Now that its summer, be prepared for a lot of outfits involving maxi skirts and dresses. This is one fashion trend I hope never dies. The great thing about them is they are very airy so you won’t get too hot. Honestly, I just love twirling around in them, It makes me feel like some sort of princess or old school gypsy. I recently wore this outfit on a hot summer day in Soho. This outfit is great for different occasions such as shopping in the city or having lunch with the girls. You can even wear this to work as long as you pair it with different shoes; I did this once and got a lot of compliments on the skirt.

I got the skirt at a thrift/vintage shop in the city, which I stumbled across last summer. What I love about this skirt is the pattern. Something that hold I near and dear is any paisley or mandala print because its something my mom and I love and bond over.

Anytime I wear printed maxi skirts, I usually wear a solid colored t-shirt, crop top, or tank top. I get almost all my basic tops from Forever 21, because they’re affordable and they have a huge basics section. I found the necklace on sale last year at Urban Outfitters and the shoes are from Marshall’s.
